Get me the Hell outta here!

To say its been a pretty stressful and emotional 12 months is definitely a bit of an understatement.  So understandably the opportunity to get the heck out of everything - work, home, daily life - is being welcomed with open arms right at the moment.  A bit of caravanning R&R is exactly what the doctor ordered (and actually he really did!)  So we'll see what we can find to explore over the next 3 weeks.  It's not quite the trip we originally planned but we are, if nothing else, flexible, and I know we are, all three of us, going to have an adventure to remember.  We always do when we go away and we all love going away.

Miss Kitty can't stop wagging her tail when she gets in the van and that smart kid has known for days that SOMETHING is going down.  But the minute certain items go in the van she's under your feet and won't let you go to the toilet without making sure you aren't leaving her behind.  Which is kind of funny really as she rarely gets left behind for anything!

As I sit here at the computer on the first Friday night of our break I am not daunted by the fact that it's Friday the 13th - I'm embracing it, but also fighting the urge to fall into bed.  I'm also eager to get out into the open spaces, take photos, go for walks, and just enjoy the time with my precious little family on the road.  Lots of photos to come and who knows what we'll find along the way............
